Project Coordinate Validation with Stereo IKONOS

PhotoSat has produced more than 80 Stereo IKONOS mapping projects since 2004 in various terrains throughout the world. On a significant number of these projects our clients report finding that the differences between their survey data and the Stereo IKONOS locations were a result of survey errors.

We are continually improving our Stereo IKONOS Base Mapping products. In response to a need, we have developed software tools and processes to accurately relate large amounts of project coordinate data to the Stereo IKONOS Mapping that identify probable errors in survey data.

The robust geometry of 10km x 10km stereo IKONOS satellite photos provide a consistent means of checking east, north & elevation coordinates of all photo identifiable features in a project area.
